Have and Have got
You can say: We have got a new car. or We have a new car.
In questions: Have you got any money? or Do you have any money?
In negatives: I haven´t got any money. or I don´t have any money.
!!! had (past) - usually without got. For example: Sue had long hair.

something used to happen" - something happened regularly in the past but no longer happens.
For example: I used to go to the cinema very often but now I don´t.
I used to argue with everyone when I was a teenager.
We also use used to for something that was true but is not true any more.
For example: Sue used to have long hair when she was a child.
Peter used to study hard but then he quit the university.
I used to drink three beers a day. BUT I´m used to drinking three beers a day.
!!! I used to do something - is past, there is no present form.

In negatives: I didn´t use to like him.

I´ve lived alone since I was 20. I´m used to living alone.
