Past simple: I did
- We use past simple for a complete action.
- Very often the past simple ends in -ed, but many verbs are irregular.
For example:
Where did you go?
I finished at 5 o´clock.
I worked in a toy factory ten years ago.
We went to a museum yesterday but it was closed.
Mary didn´t invite her parents to the wedding.
What did you do yesterday evening.
I called you but nobody answered.
She passed her exams because she studied with a private teacher.
Ann wasn´t hungry, so she didn´t eat anything.
